We are launching a new ministry from the House of Prayer, starting with a 24/7 weekend prayer event and we’d love as many of our church family to come and be a part of the weekend.
Starting at 10am on Friday 20th we will begin with a short commissioning before going into a time of sung worship and then we will go straight into the prayer weekend itself and run through until 6:30am on Sunday 22nd when we will end with a time of worship wrapping up the weekend at 7:30am.
The focus of the weekend will be praying for the students of the city of York and every aspect of student life here in the city: from new starters, halls of residence, final year students and their exams, CU’s of both universities, the faculty and all in between.
Whilst our focus of the prayer weekend will be students, the invitation to come and pray is for every one of us, and we would love as many people to come together and cover the students of this city in prayer, protection, and God’s blessing.
We are asking that everyone sign up using the following link, so that each hour of the weekend is covered with prayer: https://signup.24-7prayer.com/signup/d9857b
Please note if you sign up to do one of the late night/early morning slots (12am-7am) you must be over 18yrs for safeguarding purposes.
Meeting monthly on Zoom to pray for our church mission partners, the world missions team would love you to join them as they share updates and pray for members of our congregation who are working and ministering across the world.
