Men's Event

On the evening of Thursday 19th October, 19:30-21:30 at Spark:York, we will be hosting special guest Robert Clifford, who will be talking to us on the topic, “Fight Like a Man”. He isn’t a black belt in taekwondo, but some say he is a black belt in the Word.

Who's Robert?

Robert, based in Horsham, West Sussex, has a degree in Physics and began his career as a physics teacher, but for the last 18 years, as a teacher and leader within The Way of The Spirit ministry, has been enriching christians’ lives with his biblical exposition at events across the UK, as well as at teaching Centres and Bible Colleges where Robert has held leadership positions.

What to expect?

There’ll be a time of worship, followed by a talk from Robert in which he’ll provide a unique take on how we can learn to live from our new identity as beloved sons of the Father, without guilt and shame. As with our previous event, you’ll be able to make use of Spark’s plentiful food and drink offering.

The event will run from 19:30-21:30, but feel free to arrive early and grab food or drink, we have the booking from 18:30-22:00 so there’s plenty of time to hang out and chat.
