'Tabernacle' Extended worship and prayer

  • House of Prayer St Cuthbert's York United Kingdom (map)

Join us once a month for ‘Tabernacle’ extended worship and prayer!

Our desire is to welcome the presence of God, to worship Him wholeheartedly, be led by His Spirit and seek Him in prayer together! We believe the Lord wants to teach His people more about how to hunger for Him and to meet with Him in new and powerful ways, so come along if you are longing to grow and deepen your relationship with Jesus. This is a city-wide event, all are welcome.

The Tabernacle of David is the name given to the tent that King David set up on Mount Zion in Jerusalem to house the Ark of the Covenant. It was a new order of extravagant worship and intercession centred on the Presence of God with continuous sacrifices of exuberant praise, joy, and thanksgiving. Our desire is to see the Church restored to worship and pray according to Heaven’s order (as prophesied in Acts 15:16-17 and Revelation 4&5) – to become a dwelling place where the Presence of God is adored, where He speaks and is listened to, and where His people are led by the Spirit to pray in the authority of Jesus.

Whether you pop in for half an hour or the whole thing, come and join us as we Tabernacle with the Lord!
