National Day of Reflection

We will be joining with churches across the country to mark the National Day of Reflection on Tuesday 23rd March, the first anniversary of the UK lockdown, to commemorate the tragic loss of life due to COVID-19 and stand together with everyone who is grieving.

St Michael le Belfrey will be open from 10am to 2pm on Tuesday 23rd March for private prayer and reflection.

You might also like to mark the day from home in one of these ways:
- Phone or write a card to a friend or neighbour who has lost someone.
- Plant a bulb or seedling as a sign of hope.
- Tie a yellow ribbon to your front door or fence as a sign of prayer and support for those who are grieving.
- Follow the Church of England's short Act of Prayer for this day by lighting a candle, praying and reading scripture.

If you have experienced loss this year, our deepest sympathies and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
