"Broken" was sadly how two thirds of people described Britain, even before the credit crunch (Mori Survey 2007). Even though most people’s attention has turned to the repair of the economy – a similar number still describe a brokenness to society – with a worrying concern that it is going in a direction that they do not want or support (with a continuing loss of community) – Survey for The Times (2010).

We only recognise a third of our neighbours. Nearly two thirds of us never socialise with our neighbours (research by Legal and General 2010), 97.5% of people admit their relationships could be improved, 64% of people don’t think they give enough time to their close friends and 59% of single people often feel lonely. 80% of people do not respect their boss (Authentic Relationships from the Inside Out – Sarah Abell – 2009 - based on over a 1000 interviews).

Our aim is to bring Christ’s teaching to every relationship – whether as husband and wife, father, mother, son daughter, friend, work colleague or neighbour. We hope in this way to strengthen every relationship so that we can be a source of help, support and encouragement to many living around us.

We achieve this aim through:
Running Parenting courses for parents of babies, toddlers, those of primary school age as well as teenagers
Delivering Marriage Preparation and Marriage Enrichment Courses
Arranging courses for those recovering from the traumas of life including separation & divorce
Offering support to those going through tough times
Organising Conferences and Training Events on wider relationships
Serving and supporting churches across the North of England
